You may simply call me an aspiring writer, the eldest of the 8 Read children - many of which you will find roaming about the blogosphere. An 18 year old Christian homeschool graduate, I have been Classically educated through the teaching principles of Charlotte Mason. I have been a military child ever since I can remember, toured the nation and the world, and upon my father’s retirement from the U.S. Army, my family and I have been shaping our new land into a homestead known as Fair Hills Farm.
In 2004, my mother discovered the fascinating history of Dr. Harvey W. Wiley and the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1906. After years of researching and writing, I completed a full length historical drama screenplay titled The Crusading Chemist in March 2008 and am now revising it for representation. I plan on studying history at the college level and in between studying, working on literary and art projects and living big family farm life I hope to provide analysis of historical dramas in my blog article series, Dramatizing History.
