And yes, the convention went way better than I could have imagined it! Mitt Romney brough the house down!! Giuliani and Huckabee were both great, and that lady governor from Hawaii, and of course Sarah Palin. McCain was strong last night. I couldn’t have been happier!
And yeah, I heard Dobson last week saying that if he did vote, he would vote for McCain. I hope he has come all the way around; he pulls around a lot of weight and it would be a shame if he discouraged voters from getting out there.

I found you on Twitter by searching for Christian writers. I’m a homeschool grad, too, so I clicked over to your blog and found your comments on the whole election thing (which I’ve been following).
I understand about the personal acquaintances - I try to do that on Facebook, with the exception of writers I know through their books.

Hi Amanda!
What a blessing it was for you to stop by my blog. I am so excited about your work in the Girlhood Home Companion. Jill speaks so highly of you and she is such a good judge of character.
Anyway, I added some additional thoughts and more photos on my post about the McCain rally. (Not real deep though, just personal observation) This has been so super-charged this last week for many reasons, but so much excitement about the pick of Gov. Palin for the running mate. I could spend so much time reading posts and watching videos but have to really limit my blogging time now. It so easly steals time.
Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the visit, and for writing from your heart and I pray that the Lord will continue to lead you in your young life! God is so good to those who seek Him diligently!

Alas, for all our prayers and all our work. The sum of all our fears has come upon us.
God put a choice before America and she chose an wicked leader, the numbers say it all. It just goes to show us that no one is beyond GODS righteous judgment, not even the once great and proud United States of America. GOD has allowed us a wicked leader just as HE allowed Isral to have Ahab and others like him. execpt they had him for his lifetime, We only have to put up with this obamanation for four years.
God is taking america to the woodshed for a lesson about her sin, HE will sheild his people from the judgement, so be of good cheer and hope. GOD has not fallen off his throne. HE knows what he is about.
Here’s something to consiter, —
The United States does not appear anywhere in the senerio of the last days spoken of in revelation or other prophetic books. Perhaps this is the begining of the USAs decline so that GODS plan for the end times can move ahead. with no USA the anti-christ could rise to power. Get ready to fly home kids because hes coming soon !!!! 8-]
