Let Us Humbly Resolve…

…To fight for righteousness!  Let us fight and win!  I can’t help but share another thoughtful say in the matter of this historic Presidential Election that I found…

Voting In Faith by Pastor James McDonald

Wilson on Palin by Pastor James McDonald

The Republican National Convention went very well, by the way. :)

A friend of ours made a great post about the convention:

Discover McCain-Palin, A Reason To Stand Up And Fight! by Lindy Abbott

Remember, those of you concerned otherwise…McCain-Palin isn’t the worst tasting gnat, but Obama-Biden is quite a large camel to swallow.

Prayerfully,

~Amanda~

Thanks for the comment and good links!

And yes, the convention went way better than I could have imagined it! Mitt Romney brough the house down!! Giuliani and Huckabee were both great, and that lady governor from Hawaii, and of course Sarah Palin. McCain was strong last night. I couldn’t have been happier!

And yeah, I heard Dobson last week saying that if he did vote, he would vote for McCain. I hope he has come all the way around; he pulls around a lot of weight and it would be a shame if he discouraged voters from getting out there.

Keep up the good work. :)

    Hi, Amanda!

I found you on Twitter by searching for Christian writers. I’m a homeschool grad, too, so I clicked over to your blog and found your comments on the whole election thing (which I’ve been following).

I understand about the personal acquaintances - I try to do that on Facebook, with the exception of writers I know through their books.

    Amanda,
Thanks for your comments tonight. I really appreciate these two articles esp. since James McDonald and Douglas Wilson are both men I have much respect for. It is nice to have some folks trying to bring a bit of wisdom to the whole situation.
    Blessings,
    Jennifer

I thinK Sarah might view her role more significantly than we even see her role…

    Hi Amanda!
What a blessing it was for you to stop by my blog. I am so excited about your work in the Girlhood Home Companion. Jill speaks so highly of you and she is such a good judge of character.
Anyway, I added some additional thoughts and more photos on my post about the McCain rally. (Not real deep though, just personal observation) This has been so super-charged this last week for many reasons, but so much excitement about the pick of Gov. Palin for the running mate. I could spend so much time reading posts and watching videos but have to really limit my blogging time now. It so easly steals time.
Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the visit, and for writing from your heart and I pray that the Lord will continue to lead you in your young life! God is so good to those who seek Him diligently!

    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Baetz
