Pro-Family

I‘m amazed…I’ve been sincerely praying for McCain to choose a wise and godly Vice Presidential Candidate, and it never occurred to me that the choice would be a one-of-a-kind Deborah that is a mother of five children, the eldest of which is in the Army serving in Iraq and the youngest of which is a Down syndrome baby that was born in April.  WOW.  Imagine a woman of political power in our day and age that is still feminine and still has SENSE.  In other words, she’s still a woman and not of the monstrous regiment.  She has fulfilled a need without a feministic agenda.

Such a position of civic power is not a position that all women can handle, and thus neither is it a position that all women should aspire to.  But if there is a woman that is in such a position, this is the way she should be.

The Republican ticket is 100% more wholesome and pro-family than the Democratic ticket.  The McCains and Palins are large, pro-life conservative families!  It’s time to kick the jokers out and let the American family reform the nation, and McCain Palin represents this beautifully.

I’m pretty happy about the choice. My father in Alaska lives on the same lake she does. He can look out his window and see her house. And my brother used to hang out with her son. Pretty small world. Great choice for sure (from what we can see so far about her).

Thanks for the comment! I am so excited for the Republican party this year. I cannot wait to see what happens. I’m really praying, more than I have any other year, for the Republican side to win. I’ve heard that Obama’s said the first thing he’s going to do in office is sign the bill to make parital-birth abortion legal. So, I guess it’s not the fact that a child is not really a “person” in the womb, I guess it’s now the fact that the child is unwanted to make it legal to kill. >:(
Palin does seem very balanced when it comes to being feminist and a strong Republican. Apparently she’s a part of some feminist group that is pro-life. I’m very proud of her stand against abortion, and to have little Trig even though she knew before his birth that he had Downs Syndrome. I’m so excited for this election and so deeply praying that America chooses correctly.

    I REALLY APPRECIATE THIS POST!

found your blog after doing a google search for Biblical womanhood and Sarah Palin

God might just be raising up a Deborah for this nation… I can’t see anybody else other than a WOMAN (with children including one with down’s synrdome) represent the pro-life cause at this point. Such desperate times call for desperate measures considering the infanticidal Marxist we’re up against. Hopefully this is all in God’s timing. I was going to vote 3rd party, but worried now that that would be out of pride instead of principle… IN a fallen world, no choicei s perfect.

I enjoyed the post and the article. Thanks for leaving the links at my blog. I also enjoyed your mother’s article. This is such an interesting time in our country. All I know is that Sarah Palin has people talking, even my husband who didn’t feel comfortable voting McCain until she was added to the ticket. I can’t wait to see what happens.

Thank you for stopping by. I agree with you…I saw a comment you left on another blog wondering if God is using a woman leader to humble our nation, as He did with Deborah. I have wondered the same.

In light of the recent news of her teen daughter’s pregnancy, I wonder if you still feel the same? I wrote about it…I am curious to hear your thoughts :)

Thank you for all your post about McCain/Palin. I feel like I found a friend =) I also read your mother’s blog.

I have felt alone with my decision, but I don’t anymore ;)

Blessings to you and your family,
    Linda<
